The course
Bandon Trails is the lone course at Bandon Dunes that never touches the Pacific, instead routing inland through coastal dunes, open meadow, and a forest of fir and pine. Designed by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw and opened in 2005, it offers a quieter, more sheltered counterpoint to the resort's exposed oceanfront layouts.
Signature hole: The par-3 5th plays from an elevated tee down to a green tucked against the forest edge, marking the transition from open dunes into the trees.
